Role: Panelist

Ryan has been the Climate Program Manager at Ocean Conservancy since 2020 and is focused on U.S. domestic marine renewable energy and offshore wind policy and legislation. He collaborates with energy technology companies, non-profits, researchers, federal staff, coastal community groups, and blue economy accelerators to support the responsible, just and rapid development of these technologies. Prior to this, he linked coastal community needs with policy solutions for issues such as ocean acidification and sustainable fisheries management. Ryan holds a Master of Marine Policy from the University of Delaware as well as a degree in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California at Berkeley.
