David Andrejcak is the Deputy Director of the Office of Energy Infrastructure Security (OEIS) at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. OEIS provides leadership, expertise and assistance to identify, communicate and seek comprehensive solutions to potential risks to FERC-jurisdictional facilities from cyber attacks and such physical threats as electromagnetic pulses. Previously, Mr. Andrejcak was the Director of the Division of Engineering, Planning and Operations within the Office of Electric Reliability (OER). Mr. Andrejcak joined the Commission in 2007 as Manager of Transmission Planning in the Office of Energy Markets and Reliability (OEMR). Mr. Andrejcak came to the Commission with more than 24 years of experience in the electric utility industry. He began his career with Virginia Electric Power Company (VEPCO - now Dominion), and held a variety of engineering and management positions of increasing responsibilities dealing with engineering, planning, construction, operations and project management. Mr. Andrejcak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
