Zack covers climate change for POLITICO. He previously covered climate and energy issues at E&E News, The Christian Science Monitor, the Washington Examiner and The Hill and has freelanced for a number of publications. A former Knight Science Journalism fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bill Lane Center for the American West fellow at Stanford University, he holds a master's degree from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
