Hali Gruber

Hali Gruber is the Legislative Director for House Energy & Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05). In addition to overseeing the policy team and agenda for Rep. Rodgers’ personal office, Hali advises the congresswoman on appropriations, energy, environment, health care, disability, agriculture, natural resources, and commerce issues. Prior to joining Team CMR, Hali was the Legislative Director for Rep. Ralph Norman (SC-05) where she guided the congressman’s policy positions in his capacity as Ranking Member of the Environment Subcommittee on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, and most recently, as a Member of the House Rules Committee. As an Associate on Rules Committee Majority Staff, Hali worked closely with congressional leadership, multiple facets of the GOP conference, and across party lines as a conduit to help advance key legislation for consideration to the House floor. Prior to her six year career on Capitol Hill, Hali attended the University of Delaware, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She is a New Jersey native and previously worked for Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07).
