John Chesterton

John Chesterton is a water power professional with 20 yrs of consulting experience in water and hydropower projects, including Pumped Storage. John’s experience has lead roles for multi-disciplinary projects in dams, hydropower, irrigation, and river engineering. Technical specialties include digital and civil design and hydraulic assessment and modelling in the hydropower, water supply, irrigation and highways industries. John currently works as a principal project manager and, based in California, is Mott MacDonald’s Dams and Reservoirs Portfolio Lead for North America.
