Hailee Kessel recently shifted industries to lead the regulatory department at Current Hydro, a company dedicated to advancing America’s clean energy transition by building run-of-river hydroelectric projects that are environmentally responsible. As a life-long environmental advocate and a member of the outdoor state, working with Current Hydro to establish projects that focus on honoring riverine ecology aligns seamlessly with Hailee’s values. With a mission to reframe the past and often poor image of hydropower in the nation, she works to ensure Current Hydro represents the gold standard in the industry by actively engaging with stakeholders (environment, animals, and people) to develop ethical projects for all.
