Role: Co-Facilitator

Clark Mather currently serves as the Government Affairs Officer for Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU). In that role, Clark supervises TPU’s team that leads advocacy and partnership with federal, state, local, and Native American tribal governments as well as various community relations activities throughout the South Puget Sound and Washington State. In April, Clark will join Northwest River Partners as Executive Director, succeeding Kurt Miller. Northwest RiverPartners is a member-driven hydropower advocacy organization that serves not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities and businesses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming. Prior to joining TPU in 2012, Clark served as a senior staff member for U.S. Congressman Norm Dicks and U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell. Earlier is his career, Clark worked for State Rep. Jeff Gombosky and led the Washington Student Lobby as President. Clark graduated with honors from Washington State University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Political Science.
