Michael Purdie

Mike Purdie has been NHA’s Director of Regulatory Affairs and Markets since July 2022. He is responsible for NHA’s activities relating to water power licensing and regulatory issues, implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and NHA’s activities in FERC-jurisdictional wholesale markets. Prior to coming to NHA, he worked at Dominion Energy in its electric market policy group. He also has experience working at the Nuclear Energy Institute and Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He holds a Masters Degree in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
