Lauren Inouye

Lauren Inouye has over 15 years experience working in renewable energy and low-carbon investment. At Eagle Creek, Lauren led the acquisition, integration and asset management of hydropower projects and other renewable energy investments. Lauren previously was Director of Business Development at Cube Hydro Partners, which merged with Eagle Creek in 2019. Lauren developed solar projects in Latin America as the Investment Director of Iwana Energy, managed interests in hydropower and other investments as the Portfolio Manager for RNK Capital, and invested in clean energy projects in emerging markets as a Senior Associate for Sindicatum Renewable Energy. Lauren has also been a consultant to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and to the US Department of Energy. Lauren holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University in International Relations with a focus on Sustainable Development, and a Masters Degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts with concentrations in International Business and Energy and Environmental Policy. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia in 2004, conducting research on renewable energy and rural electrification.
