John Katz

John Katz is Deputy Associate General, Energy Projects, at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, where he focuses on non-federal hydroelectric, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas projects. John has represented the Commission in administrative proceedings, in federal district court, before the United States Courts of Appeals, and before Congress and state legislatures. During more than 40 years of government and private sector work, he has been active in virtually all areas of the energy field. John graduated from Colgate University and Duke University Law School.
