Heidi Wahto

Heidi is an advocate for hydropower with 25 years' experience providing legislative, policy, regulatory and environmental services in both the public and private sectors. She is a Licensing & Regulatory Lead for Stantec's Power & Dams group serving as Project Manager and Strategic Advisor to large and small engineering design, construction, and environmental/regulatory projects. Heidi's leadership and drive reflects her values: on behalf of projects, clients, and industry she engages and builds relationships with colleagues, regulators, stakeholders, and the public on broad hydropower industry and on specific project licensing matters. She serves on the Board of Directors for both the National Hydropower Association and the Northwest Hydroelectric Association.
