Seeking Hydropower Industry Insight on the Application of Downstream American Eel Passage Performance Standards at Hydropower Projects

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Northeast Region is developing a staff guidance document to provide performance standards for downstream American eel passage at hydroelectric projects within New England and the Mid-Atlantic States.

As part of this process, the Fish and Wildlife Service seeks input from industry representatives on considerations to be contemplated when implementing its staff guidance at hydropower projects.
