Marine Energy: A Focus on Tidal

The global tidal industry is ahead of the curve compared to the United States in ocean energy developments.

However, with the announcement of two tidal projects selected from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law-funded U.S. Tidal Energy Advancement funding opportunity, the U.S. Department of Energy is trying to make up some ground. There is more to be done and we need to lead with proven performance in U.S. tidal sites.

This panel will discuss recent deployments and those yet to come to give an overview of the state of tidal energy in the United States.
