Cherise Gaffney

Cherise Gaffney is the founding member of Gaffney Law, PLLC, an environmental and natural resources law firm whose clients include owners and developers of hydropower dams, pumped storage facilities, and wave energy projects. Cherise has over 25 years of experience guiding complex energy and infrastructure projects through permitting and compliance issues under the Federal Power Act, Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act and related federal and state laws. Cherise has been active in NHA for over two decades, serving on the Board of Directors, as Vice President, and as the chair of NHA’s Regulatory Committee, Legislative Committee and New Technologies Committee.
