Maranda Compton

Maranda Compton is a nationally recognized expert on issues of Native American law and policy. She is a former law partner and now the Founder and President of Lepwe, a consulting boutique providing strategic advice and education to Tribal Nations and the non-tribal entities that seek to partner, engage, and consult with Tribes. Maranda works on large-scale project development in the energy and technology spaces, helping clients navigate issues of state and federal permitting, Tribal consultation, and project financing and partnership. She helps build bridges between developers, investors, Tribal Nations, and other relevant governmental agencies to create better processes and projects. Maranda is a citizen of the Delaware Tribe of Indians, a resident of Missoula, Montana, a breast cancer survivor, and a mom of two.
