Role: Panelist

Katie Kennedy is a river scientist with The Nature Conservancy’s North America Region. She works collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups to find creative ways to manage rivers that provide human benefits such as clean energy, flood control, water supply, irrigation, and recreation, while also providing the conditions necessary for functioning and thriving river ecosystems. Dr. Kennedy received her B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Eastern University, Pennsylvania, and her M.S. in Fisheries Genetics and Ph.D. in River Ecology and Management from Auburn University, Alabama.
