Role: Speaker

In her role, Allison creates vehicles for engagement between the water power research programs and key stakeholders -- whether industry, academia, DOE leadership, or Congress -- and she works with a talented team of communicators to highlight the achievements of WPTO partners. Allison also oversees WPTO's programs to support workforce development and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) outreach. Allison joined WPTO in 2018 but first came to DOE in 2015 as a Presidential Management Fellow and served as a stakeholder engagement advisor to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. She also has experience at the Environmental Protection Agency's Region 8 office in Denver and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Brussels. Allison has lived in five countries and seven U.S. cities but now feels rooted in the nation's capital.
