Suzanne Bonamici

Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici represents Oregon’s First Congressional District and is a champion for education, workforce development, and climate action. A former attorney and state legislator, she leads efforts to strengthen public education, reduce testing, and expand STEAM opportunities. As a senior member of the Education and Labor Committee and the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, she advocates for policies that support students, workers, and families. Bonamici also fights for climate resilience, coastal communities, and consumer protection. She and her husband, Michael, have two grown children.
