NHA Marine Energy Council (MEC) Meeting

Let's get ready to elevate marine energy this week in Washington!

This Marine Energy Council (MEC) meeting is open to anyone who works for an NHA Member Organization working in or interested in some form of marine energy (tides, waves, ocean current, riverine hydrokinetics).

During this meeting, the co-chairs (who are the 2025 volunteer leaders of the Council) will use this time to get participants ready for the week in Washington D.C.

As representatives of NHA member organizations look forward to interacting throughout the week with federal agencies (including the U.S. Department of Energy) and Congressional staffers, it's imperative to be prepared to share unified messages about needed federal government policy and funding to advance marine energy technology.

This in-person meeting is an important opportunity to come together to coordinate on priorities for the week and beyond.
NOTE: This meeting will take the place of NHA’s regularly scheduled virtual Marine Energy Council (MEC) April Meeting.
