Hydropower Research and Development: Educational Event at the Norwegian Embassy (ticketed event)
This special event -- at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Washington -- features the innovative hydro-related work occurring in the country of Norway, where 90% of the electricity used is generated by hydropower.
Join with colleagues interested in innovation and progressive research and development for this unique learning experience. You’ll become familiar with technological advancements being made by Norwegian researchers that are enabling hydropower to make critical contributions toward reliable electricity delivery throughout Europe, where much of the electrical power is now supplied by renewable energy.
After the presentations, you’ll enjoy social/cocktail time together at the Embassy.
NOTE: there is no charge to participate, but sign up is required when registering for Water Power Week (or adding on to your existing registration). Capacity is limited, so sign up today!
