Continuing the Dialogue: NHA’s Marine Energy Council and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office

Building on ongoing discussions between NHA’s Marine Energy Council (MEC) and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO), this meeting provides a forum for industry and government to align on priorities for advancing marine energy.

Through this meeting, NHA is providing its member organizations the opportunity to engage directly with WPTO leadership on key topics, including upcoming funding opportunities, programmatic goals, and pathways to accelerate commercialization.

This dialogue will serve as a critical touchpoint for ensuring WPTO’s initiatives effectively support industry needs, while also fostering continued collaboration to unlock the full potential of marine energy in the U.S.
