Marine Energy Technical Presentations, by Collegiate Competitions Teams
- Time:
- 10:00 AM
- - 4:00 PM
- Room Number:
- California
- Day:
- 5/7/2023
Each team in the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition (MECC) has created a device concept.
Now they are coming to the grand finale of the competition to share their concept.
Throughout the day, teams make 20-minute “pitch” presentations on the business plan, technical design, and build and test results of their concepts, along with the extent of their market analysis and validation of their concepts, to a panel of judges participating as mock project investors. The judges then have 15 minutes to ask questions.
The team’s mission? Convince the panel of judges of the technical underpinnings, business case, and feasibility of commercialization of their system.
Each presentation is open to any attendee at Waterpower Week, as well as to all competing teams. Q&A sessions are private.
